Delete your kaylokay account
You can delete your account at any time. Deleting is permanent: we cannot bring an account back.
In the app
This is the fastest way, and it happens right away.
- Open kaylokay and sign in.
- Tap Profile, then Settings.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Enter your password and confirm.
If you can’t use the app
Lost your phone or forgot your password? Email support@kaylokay.com from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete my account. We may reply to confirm it is you. We aim to finish within 30 days, usually much sooner, and we will tell you when it is done.
What we delete
- Your listings, and the photos on them (the files are erased from our server).
- Your email address, phone number, city and bio.
- Your notifications, the people you blocked, and the ratings people left about you.
- Your sign-in, on every phone.
What stays, and why
- Conversations. The other person keeps their side of a conversation. Your name in it becomes “Deleted user.”
- Ratings you left for other people stay, without your name.
- Safety records. Reports you filed or that were filed about you, listings our team hid or removed (with their photos) because of a report, and the log of what our team did. We keep these only as long as we need them to keep the community safe or meet legal duties.
- Backups. Copies we keep for disaster recovery can still hold your information until newer backups replace them.

You can delete single listings, hide your phone number, block people, or sign out, without deleting your account.
